Description:

This original one-off new-build contemporary home, takes three interlocking boxes and material types to create three defined spaces that divide the house up into entrance/circulation, living and accommodation. Where the connecting boxes interlock and overlap with one another, small functional spaces are created like the WC and cloak room.

The building is sited in a flood risk area and so is raised up in the landscape in order to meet the requirements of the flood plain.
