The studio was shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden death of Jeremy Paxton. Professionally a client, but more importantly a friend, Jeremy was a truly exciting and inspirational character.
Owner of the Lower Mill Estate in Gloucestershire, Jeremy sought to produce stunning Architecture in beautiful surroundings whilst providing a wonderful village community in the heart of the Cotswold District. His pioneering foresight enabled this to happen and as a result this great idea is now a thriving and sustainable community. At AR Design Studio we are proud to have been a part of it. We have worked with Jeremy on many other projects throughout the years and we will truly miss his enthusiastic and infectious spirit.
Jeremy had recently started a trial as a “flying fire engine”. Generously donating himself, his helicopter and much of his time and money to Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service as support for flooding and major incidents, it was a wonder he managed to fit it into his busy lifestyle. A testament to how he lived life to the full.
Our thoughts and sympathies are with his three children Red, Ruby and Rory.
