Avon Castle Drive

The site, originally part of the Earl of Egmont Estate sits within a large wooded area fronting its own private lake.

While the lake has a number of other houses situated around it, the dense woodland surrounding the site permits almost complete privacy.

Finished in white render, timber and standing seam zinc, the proposal is for a new contemporary family dwelling that sits comfortably within its environment whilst enjoying the lakeside views and activities.

The design concept was derived by taking the optimum room dimensions for each key element and extruding them into solid blocks. Theses blocks were then separated in function groups, given individual materials and collided to produce one single entity.
