Stocklands is a five house development near Chichester. With a strong local character, vernacular and historical value, the surrounding context became a key driver informing the concepts that steer the proposal.
Designed by AR Design Studio an award-winning RIBA certified contemporary architectural practice, based in Winchester, Hampshire, specialising in elegant modern new homes, extensions, renovations and multi-plot developments.
Stocklands is a five house development near Chichester. With a strong local character, vernacular and historical value, the surrounding context became a key driver informing the concepts that steer the proposal. We focused on blending the houses in the landscape, ensuring privacy in a clear yet friendly manner. The final scheme was done through a process of relating to the local geography, culture and morphology.
